Katie Holmes Post-Hurricane Manhattan Stroll

Looking to get some fresh air and exercise, Katie Holmes went for a walk on the streets of New York City earlier today (November 1).

Dressed in a preppy sweater and jeans combo, the "Dawson's Creek" darling seemed to be in good spirits as she sipped a cup of coffee while exploring the Hurricane Sandy-riddled city.

Starting on Saturday (November 3) Katie will be starring in the limited-run Broadway play "Dead Accounts," and she's been loving the role.

Holmes exclaimed, "Finally I get to yell! What I really loved about this character was she's strong underneath it all. I like her values, I like that she's trying to figure it all out and really cares for her family."
