Once the Queen of the vertiginous heel, Victoria Beckham has lately moved into a whole new realm of footwear. Ditching her Louboutin Daffodiles - measuring in at 16cm high - for simple court shoes from brands like Proenza Schouler and Manolo Blahnik, La Beckham went one step further this weekend and plumped for a full-on flat.
At a diminutive 5’4’’ in her stocking-ed feet, Beckham has always used heels to amp up her presence – but now perhaps displaying a new sense of security, she’s opted for a pair of flat buckled Monk shoes. Designed by Manolo Blahnik, her flats feature in her Spring Summer 2013 mainline collection presented to the press during New York Fashion Week and we all know VB is the best ambassador for her own creations.

So what's your verdict? Do you miss the old statuesque VB or are you all over her androgynous new shoe choice? Team Grazia are split down the middle – read on below to hear what the yay and nay-sayers reckon!
YESWAY!
Finally VB has got rid of her WAG ready platforms and got her feet into gear! It’s been a revelation to see Victoria’s style evolution over the past 4 years and her most recent incarnation is by far the most relaxed and naturally sexy we’ve ever seen. While it’s true the FROW have been working a power flat for several seasons now, Victoria is doing more than jumping on a bandwagon. By ditching the platforms she’s proving that she has the confidence to be herself- even if that means her 13 year old son towers over her. Plus the Monk is the new Brogue, so what’s not to love?!

NOWAY!
I’m not averse to a flat shoe. Even on Victoria Beckham. In fact the sight of VB in a shift and a flat and her kids is rather heart-warming. She almost looks like a functioning mother. So no, I’m not adverse to the flats, I’m just averse to
