We've been offered a few cursory glances of Rihanna's highly-anticipated collection for River Island, but now we get a more detailed look with the release of a behind-the-scenes video.
The pop star is captured in the design studio with Adam Selman, her costume designer and co-designer on the River Island line, talking about the collection and why she chose to partner with the British high street chain.

"This has been something I've wanted to do ever since I started loving fashion," she says, adding that "everytime I saw something on a rack I wanted to do something to it to change it, so I felt that only way I could do that was by designing something perfect for me. This was my way of doing that - teaming up with River Island and designing clothes for young, sassy personalities, that's what I wanted to do."
Of her choice to work with a British brand, Riri says it was all down to the Brits' unmatchable street style, which she thinks inspires high-end designers.
The collection, which she calls "casual, chic, flirty", will hit stores on March 5, but will first get a starry airing at a catwalk show scheduled to take place on February 16 during London Fashion Week.
