With her recent Best Actress Oscar driving the price up, Jennifer Lawrence's workout clothes from "Silver Linings Playbook" brought in big bucks at auction on Thursday (February 28).
The 22-year-old rising star's wardrobe was sold by Nate D. Sanders memorabilia auction house. Predicted to go for $500 to $1,500 apiece, the items surpassed expectations.
Sold together, her sports bra and blue long-sleeved shirt worn during the dance rehearsal scenes were $3,175.
Vanilla pants worn during the dance competition fetched a whopping $3,493 alone. The big ticket item, a wool winter coat worn during the film, brought in $4,652. If the talented Ms. Lawrence ever falls on hard times, at least she can take comfort in the fact that her used clothing will keep her afloat for awhile.
