Above average ratings prompted Fox to hand out early renewals to four of its original series on Monday (March 4).
According to Deadline, the network ordered more episodes for mid-season drama "The Following," along with Tuesday comedies "New Girl," "Raising Hope," and "The Mindy Project."
The shows join recently renewed series "Bones" and leave negotiations on the table for "Glee," which is currently in its fourth season.
In related news, "New Girl," starring Zooey Deschanel, is the network's highest rated comedy and will begin its third season next year.
