Today, WWD released Louis Vuitton's new ads for the Alma bag, shot on three different bridges in three different cities (New York, Paris, and Shanghai) and starring Karlie Kloss, Daria Strokous, Jac Jagaciak, and Iris Strubegger. The pictures are cool, but in the same breath, WWD revealed much more interesting news: Apparently the label "plans to wind down the current iteration of core-values advertising" — in other words, they're nixing the ads that show public figures like Angelina Jolie, Catherine Deneuve, and Mikhail Gorbachev lounging about in their natural habitats with LV luggage plopped nearby. (Remember that leaked image of Michael Phelps in the bath?)
