"Rag & Bone started life in New York, but as English guys we are delighted to be a part of London Collections: Men," explained Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, the founders, designers and managing partners of the label, in a statement released today.

The label, which was started 10 years ago as a menswear company specialising in jeans, has since evolved into womenswear, with actresses Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Alba and model Cara Delevingne all fans.
The design duo explain how menswear "is what originally put our brand on the map and our British roots have heavily influenced our aesthetic, so we felt strongly about showing our SS 2014 collection in our hometown."
The doors of the first Rag & Bone store in Europe opened its doors on London's Sloane Square last year "and with LC:M gathering momentum each season, we feel incredibly excited to be a part of it" say Wainwright and Neville, who met at boarding school in Berkshire but now both reside in New York.

Their label will be in good company at the menswear showcase: last week Jimmy Choo announced it was abandoning Milan in favour of LC:M, as well as big guns Burberry, Alexander McQueen and Jimmy Choo.
