Giambattista Valli makes a slingback with serious edge. Its vermillion-red satin mixed with a sharp metallic heel and pointed toe would be too sexy if it weren't for the elegant single sole platform and a demure heel height, which keep the look in check. It's a likely suspect with a cocktail or evening dress but we would rather wear it with our favorite faded jeans and a tee.
