British Oscar-nominated actress Carey Mulligan is back in the spotlight, owing to the upcoming Release of Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of The Great Gatsby.
The 27-year-old, who plays opposite Leonardo DiCaprio as the wealthy, effervescent Daisy Buchanan, says her character was "difficult to work out, but so fun to play."
Covering the June issue of Harper's Bazaar in a baby pink Prada coat, Mulligan talks of her affection for the luxury Italian label, which incidentally created 40 party outfits for the film after screen tests with existing Prada and Miu Miu designs proved to be ideal in evoking the glamour of the Roaring Twenties.

"They were the first designer house that ever lent me anything; I wore Prada to the Oscars" Mulligan reveals, adding that she always feels very "comfortable" in Miuccia Prada's designs.
She chose a Prada gown to marry her musician beau, Marcus Mumford, last year, but pictures of the gown are likely to remain private.
Of the brand she says: "The people who work there are so lovely and really just non-scary fashion people."

We can't wait to see what Prada and Carey have up their sleeves for the forthcoming Cannes Film Festival, which The Great Gatsby will open.
