Caroline Issa to collaborate with L.K. Bennett

British retailer L.K. Bennett, a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge, is embarking on a collaboration with Tank magazine's fashion director Caroline Issa.

WWD reveal that a capsule collection of six pairs of shoes - including shoe boots, ankle-strap stilettos and kitten heels - and two handbags styles, will be launched on February 19 next year. Neon-hued embellishments, Thai-inspired embroidery and pom-poms will feature across the range.

A self-confessed shoe lover, Canadian-born Issa is a front row fixture at the bi-annual catwalk shows and her personal style - a mix of quirky, printed tailoring and bold but feminine flourishes - make her a firm target for every discerning street style photographer.

"I have a lot of basics that I use religiously; Paul Smith trousers or Equipment shirts" Issa says of her style, and she has a keen eye for footwear investments: "I have invested in Alaïa, Jimmy Choo and Prada" she reveals.

The British label, which is currently fronted by actress Emily Mortimer , secured a £16m funding package earlier this year as it plans to grow in overseas markets.
