Drew Barrymore to launch own make-up line


Not content with being the face of a brand, Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore is set to become the brains behind her very own make-up line, according to WWD .

As her five year contract as the face of Cover Girl (the US brand by Procter & Gamble which goes by the name of Max Factor in the UK) comes to an end next January, Barrymore is taking on her own beauty project with the launch of her own colour cosmetic line, rumoured to launch exclusively at American chain Wal-Mart.

Not just the pretty face of Cover Girl, Barrymore has always loved working behind the beauty scenes: Procter and Gamble told WWD that Barrymore involved herself on the television campaigns as co-creative director.

News on the beauty block is that Intercos, the Italian make-up and cosmetic company, has been working with Barrymore on the project. And being such a make-up chameleon - she works a red carpet lip just as well as she works the effortless Californian healthy glow - we expect great things from her new line of work.
