After appearing in court on Wednesday on charges of public intoxication and misdemeanor vandalism, Shaun White had both charges dismissed.
In exchange, the gold-medalist snowboarder will complete alcohol treatment, 24 hours of community service, and pay restitution to the hotel he allegedly damaged.
According to reports, on September 16th, the 26-year-old athlete was arrested at a Nashville hotel after pulling a fire alarm, destroying a hotel phone, and fleeing the scene.
After the incident, Shaun apologized, posting on his Facebook page, "I want to apologize for the unwise choices I made over the weekend and for any inconvenience it caused my family, friends, business partners, the hotel and their guests. I was celebrating a happy occasion with a ton of family and friends and got carried away. I'm truly sorry for my poor behavior."
