What Would The Beckham's Move Back To London Mean For Victoria's Style?

You might think that the Victoria Beckham fashion formula is an easy one (VB's own designer collection + pout + skyscrapers) so whereever she lives her style won't change. C'mon we're not going to see VB in board shorts down under or in a NY Knicks jersey.

The latest rumour is that they're returning to England (eek!) and VB has been spotted mansion hunting in South-West London. If she purchases the Grade II listed mansion in Richmond she was looking at yesterday will her style go a bit more, well, posh? VB's style formula is not as simple as it seems, and we have done the fashion maths and made some very complicated fash-calculations to predict what the move back to blighty would mean for Victoria's style.

Here are our VB London style rules:

1. No more flashing of her arms

We looked back in the VB fashion archives and discovered that in London Victoria keeps her arms firmly covered in long sleeved dresses, but in LA Victoria wears short sleeved dresses and even spaghetti strap camisoles. Something to do with the weather. One thing we know is that we will never ever ever see Victora Beckham strolling round London in a skinny strap vest.

2. Black n' Blue

When in London Vic sticks to black, cream and navy (although she did wear Wimbledon green to watch the tennis this year), and none of the bright colours such as tangerine, hot pink, electric blues she experiments with LA.

3. Coats

Yesterday Vic was spotted house hunting in an oversized coat with gold buttons, and we think the move to London would mean she would finally get use out of her A/W 2012 outerwear and try out every single one of her military coats with waist belts.

4. British Heritage

We're preparing for a more classic VB - think macs, like the cape-trench Comme des Garcons coat she wore from LA to London back in July, and check like the Comme des Garcons patchwork dress she wore last week to the Ramsays for Thanksgiving dins. It's unlikely we'll see her in wellies and a barbour, but we think more classic military styles could be on their way.

One thing we do know is that whatever style, era or colour palette she goes for, Vic will have a mahoosive pair of sunnies and a killer pout.
