She's been one 2012's rising stars and now Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence has been voted the 'world's most desirable woman' by AskMen.com. J-Law, who was announced as the face of Dior's handbag range earlier this year, beat off competition from Mila Kunis, Kate Upton, Rihanna and Emma Stone who have all had a phenomenal 12 months of career and style hits. But while we were obsessed by Emma's Spiderman promo wardrobe and Rihanna's 777 tour left us with plenty to talk about, it's Jennifer who has most impressed with her glamorous red carpet gowns, savvy film choices and on screen talent.
The 22-year-old is clearly popular with the boys too, which we imagine has more than a little to do with her killer body, showcased in recent flick Silver Linings Playbook. AskMen.com's editor-in-chief James Bassil revealed "Overall, there's a sense that she's a little more authentic than other actors. She's fresh because we haven't seen her all over the gossip pages for the past three or four years." Jennifer certainly doesn't air her personal business to the press and has kept her relationship with Brit actor Nicholas Hoult, who she's been dating since 2011, firmly under the radar. We’ll have to wait until 2014 to see the pair reunited on the big screen in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Not only is Jennifer a favourite with the lads and the fash pack, there are also whispers that the film industry could give her the seal of approval with an Oscar nomination next year. One of her most memorable style moments came in 2011 when the blonde bombshell wore a red Calvin Klein dress to the Academy Awards. J-Law better start working on her Oscar’s dress shortlist and acceptance speech for 2013!
