Jessie J Gets A New Hair Style: She Goes Back To Black!

Known for her love of changing her hair from pink to purple to dip-dyed and most recently brunette, Jessie J has always kept us up to date via her Instagram account-phew!   So this weekend, bored of her brunette long locks, Jessie felt it was time for a change and along with hair stylist Alisha Dobson they kept us uptodate on the progress via their social media accounts.

Hinting earlier in the week, Jessie tweeted "Brown hair is kinda boring on me" and "I miss having dark hair hmmm", giving her fans an insight into the plans for her new hair style.  Bored of her long brown hair, Jessie not only went back to black, she chopped it all off too.  During a promotional trip to China, Jessie and Alisha hit the (dye) bottle and not long after a series of 'during transformation' type pictures, Jessie annouced on Twitter, "Short black and sides.... What do you all think?"

Just Finished

Her new jet black short bob is reminiscent of Jessie's graphic hair style when she first hit the music scene back in 2010.  Remember that severe, blunt fringe and black bob?  Jessie's new look comes soon after the BBC confirming that Jessie will return as a judge for the second series of The Voice (hurrah) and Jessie couldn't be happier "'I'm so happy to be back as one of the original four for series two. It's going to be even bigger and better this time and I can't wait. Bring it on."  We can't wait!

And it sems Jessie isn't the only one going for the chop, even Leighton Meester has taken the plunge and lobbed off those Gossip Girl girly waves, opting for a chin, skimming, straighter 'do.
