Oh my what a turn of events this is! We all know Lady Gaga is an auction-shopping aficionado. You’ll remember the singer splashed some serious dollar at an auction of Michael Jackson’s former costumes, investing in a whopping fifty-five items! And prior to that, she parted with an eye-watering £85k for one of Daphne Guinness’ Alexander McQueen dresses. Now the tides have turned and it is Gaga’s stage threads that are set to earn mega-bucks under the hammer.
Back in 2010, the sartorially explorative songstress dramatically threw her futuristic (and may we say amazing) Emporio Armani silver platform heels into a pit of French monsters. Of course. It sounds frightening but as it turns out, also lucrative. Yes, the futuristic-inspired right shoe is up for sale at French auction house Cornette de Saint Cyr, where it's expect to be swept up for an impressive £4000. Not bad for one shoe, eh?
So it seems it’s a two way street this high-end bidding lark and one Gaga is most definitely queen supreme of. We can only hope that she'll be putting more of her style gems up for offer. Perhaps she'll make like Kim Kardashian and pop them on eBay? Who knows how much a meat dress would go for...
