Queens Coronation Festival: catwalk show to be staged at Buckingham Palace


As part of the four-day festival to mark the 60th anniversary of the Queen's coronation next year, plans are in place for a catwalk show to take place in the garden at Buckingham Palace.

A space accommodating 400 guests will showcase the wares of companies who have obtained Royal Warranta, such as Savile Row tailors Gieves & Hawkes and Dege & Skinner, reports the Evening Standard .

Sock manufacturer Corgi, whose designs have long been sported by the Prince of Wales, will reveal a new line commissioned by the Prince for the celebration.

Brands such as Hunter wellies will also participate, giving paying visitors an insight into the labels and products favoured by the Royal Family.

The festival takes place from July 11-14, 2013, with ticket prices ranging from £30 for a day pass to £90 for an evening gala.
