The Complete Woman: Julietta Dexter

Julietta Dexter declares herself 'the luckiest girl in the world'. She founded The Communications Store, one of the leading PR agencies in London for fashion, beauty and lifestyle, in 1995. She's a passionate advocate of long-term, natural beauty who 'doesn't intend to do anything' about her wrinkles: 'I don't believe in five-minute fixes. You look after your skin, you drink a lot of water, you take evening primrose oil like a religion.'

She is strict about her diet and doesn't eat refined carbohydrates. 'I eat very healthily, which, if you want to keep your figure with the sedentary lives we lead, you have to do,' she says. 'I eat a lot of green vegetables, nuts and high-quality protein.'

The mother of two teenage girls, she is a fan of Ashtanga yoga, road cycling and ski touring. When she does sit down (usually on a long-haul flight) she works on her tapestry, each year creating a single Christmas stocking as a gift for a loved one.

'I never don't have one on the go; they take hundreds of hours. All my staff think it's really sad,' she laughs, 'but it's one of the most therapeutic things in my life.'

JULIETTA'S essentials
