After twelve years of marriage, Ashley Judd and Dario Franchitti have announced they are splitting up.
The "Dolphin Tale" actress and her race car champion hubby released a statement on Tuesday (January 29) saying, "We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed."
Ms. Judd was a fixture at the Scotsman's Indy Racing League events, enthusiastically cheering on her hubby from the pit box.
After being engaged for about two years, the couple tied the knot in a highly private ceremony in Scotland in 2001.
