This weekend's announcement that the NHL owners and players reached a tentative agreement to end the lockout warmed the hearts of countless fans of hockey and brooding green eyes alike. The deal means the imminent return of the best/only reason to watch professional hockey: Ranger goaltender Henrik Lundqvist. Equally as handsome in a sweaty jersey as he is in a form-fitting suit, the Swede's Twitter bio reads like an endearingly self-deprecating OkCupid profile: "Goaltender for the New York Rangers. Loves to drive but knows nothing about cars. Plays guitar, but can't sing. Enjoys fashion but doesn't follow trends." While it seems like a crime to cover that bristly beard and sexy smirk, today we're celebrating Lundqvist strapping on a helmet and getting back on the ice as soon as possible so we can start making up for the many lost weeks of swooning.
