Victoria Beckham is doing a stand up job of making us super duper excited for her e-commerce site which launches next month. First she released a 17 second video teaser which includes models with the voice-over ‘What do people expect of me... mmm, I think people expect the best.’ And now Vic has announced she is launching a new capsule collection called Icon, which will launch in February on victoriabeckham.com.
For her new line VB has delved into the archives and relaunched several iconic dresses from her previous collections, worn on everyone from K Stew to J Lo. The first collection will be a tightly edited selection of pieces from spring/summer 2009 season onwards, launching with just seven dresses.

So which designs do you think will make the cut? So far we know the collection will include the striped navy and mint dress from Spring 2012, but extra pieces will be added throughout the year. We’d personally like to see the grey strapless VB dress she wore to last year's Vanity Fair Oscars party or the striped Autumn Winter 2012 collection worn by Jennifer Lawrence. ‘Together with my personal edit of the SS13 collections I wanted to be able to offer an exclusive product on the site that was in keeping with the signature aesthetic that’s very special to me,’ Ms Beckham said of the collection. ‘I introduced Icon in response to requests for designs from as far back as my first collection from customers, and I wanted to find a way to offer them key dresses from the archive, but in newly reworked colours and fabrics.’
The Spice Girl then added: ‘I hope these updated styles will become unique, limited edition pieces and am excited to revisit other archive designs as the Icon collection continues to grow.'
