Our inbox has been flooded with news, sketches, previews and invitations to view via live stream all of Karl Lagerfeld's forthcoming collaborations - and that's just this afternoon.
The grey-haired design maverick has been working so hard that it felt rude not to highlight his extra-curricular endeavours.
For a designer who said "exclusivité is very démodé" (exclusivity is passé), German-born Lagerfeld is certainly practicing what he preaches: alongside conceiving jaw-dropping dresses for Chanel, collections for Fendi and his eponymous line, Karl also has a penchant for masstige goods. Cue a unisex line of watches, which will be launched in Goldsmiths stores nationwide. With prices ranging from £100 to £400, there's certainly something for everyone, and as the begloved man says: "You cannot buy time but you can get a beautiful watch to measure time without spending a fortune."

Segueing into the world of shoes, plastic fantastic shoe brand Melissa today revealed sketches of Lagerfeld's collaboration. Ice cream come-shaped heels, pointed flats and rainbow-esque mary-janes are in the pipeline as Lagerfeld follows in the footsteps (pardon the pun) of Vivienne Westwood and Jason Wu in collaborating with the quirky Brazilian shoe brand.
Last but not least amongst this hotbed of accessories, Karl is launching first eponymous store in the Saint Germain des Pres district of Paris tomorrow. From 8.30pm fans around the world are invited to experience the opening on Facebook as three cameras hone in on Karl and his fabulous coterie of editors, celebrities and style mavens who happen to be in town for Paris Fashion Week. Oh, and he's designed a Tokidoki caricature of himself (see below), called 'Mr Black'. Exhausted? We are just writing this...
