They're ready to hit the road again, and Green Day will begin playing smaller club shows before moving to larger arena gigs.
Kicking off in Pomona, California on March 10th, the "Geek Stink Breath" punk rockers will play a limited number of shows, including a stop at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas to premiere their "¡Cuatro!" documentary.
Billie Joe Armstrong, who recently spent some time in rehab after a fully-fledged meltdown, offered a statement to fans who have stuck by the band through the difficult time.
He wrote, "Dear friends ... I just want to thank you for all the love you've show for the past few months. Believe me, it hasn't gone unnoticed and I'm eternally grateful to have such an amazing set of friends and family. I'm getting better every day. So now, without further ado, the show must go on. We can't wait to get on the road and live out loud!"
