Jenna Lyons, the president and executive creative director of J. Crew, shocked many when she left her husband to embark upon a relationship with female jewellery designer Courtney Crangi last year.
Although it took a few months for Lyons to confirm the relationship, which she did by publicly thanking Crangi for showing her "new love" when she picked up an award, she's now clarified their partnership further by appearing alongside her in a shoot for V Magazine .

The black and white image shows the pair embracing lovingly, and in the accompanying piece both talk adoringly of one another.
"For me the best thing is knowing that someone really has your back," Lyons told the publication of Crangi. "Like no matter what happens she has my best interests at heart. I think there are few moments in life where that actually happens and that feels, like, completely true and real."

Of Lyons, who has a six-year-old son with her former husband, Crangi says: "I think that most amazing about Jenna, although there are many amzing things about her, is really her grace under pressure. She's just incredibly gracious at all times."
