The Santa Monica beach was the place to be tonight (February 23) as the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards welcomed Jennifer Lawrence.
Fans and shutterbugs alike got excited as the "Silver Lining Playbook" star strolled through the arrivals area prior to the big show.
And as the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards gets underway, there's fierce competition for the 22-year-old actress in the Best Female Lead category.
The other nominees include Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Quvenzhané Vallis, Linda Cardellini, and Emayatzy Corinealdi.
