Milan Fashion Week autumn/winter 2013: Day 5 Memo

CATWALK MOMENT
It's hard to beat a Dolce & Gabbana finale, and yesterday's was no exception. As the show came to a close, an army of bejewelled, lacy, ladies in red stormed th catwalk with golden crowns perched atop the heads. Escapism in its prettiest form.

FROW-VERHEARD
Dog show.... These little cuties were the stars of the show yesterday (and possibly the most tweeted about things EVER). The blue-eyed beauties were out in force to help Bally showcase their autumn/winter 2013 collection. Can we have one please?

LOOKS WE LOVED
Clockwise from top left: the ultimate camel coat at Genny; lashings of romantic lace at Dolce & Gabbanna; sloppy pastels at Emporio Armani; navy and blue made the perfect combination at Salvatore Ferragamo; boxy shapes at Marni and subdued spots at Missoni.

STREET STYLISTAS
Pint-sized Russian fashion plate Miroslava Duma continues her street style assault in matchy-matchy orange geometrics, while other show goers choose polka dots and monochrome as their MFW uniforms.

RE-MODELLED: AYMELINE VALADE
With her razor-sharp cheekbones, there's no escaping Aymeline Valade. The French, blue-eyed beauty walked in the Dolce & Gabbana (below, left) and Salvatore Ferragamo shows on Sunday.

BEAUTY MOMENT: MISSONI
Missoni's morning-after-the-night-before eyes (precision black liner was smudged and smeared) pony tail (which with nail tracks across the crown was made to look as if it had been done with fingers, not brushes) and raw skin (this was not about perfection) proved yet again that the 'post-party' beauty we saw in New York and London is one of the strongest trends to come out of the autumn winter 2013 shows.

The morning-after-the-party - before hair and make-up at Missoni.
