They may not have been nominated for any awards, but Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock shined bright on the red carpet at the 85th Annual Academy Awards in Hollywood on Sunday. Feb. 24.
Berry, who won the Best Actress in a Leading Role for Monster's Ball in 2001, turned heads wearing a custom Versace dress, Adeler earrings, a Le Vian ring and Jimmy Choo's "Vibe" platform sandal. Bullock, who won the Best Actress in a Leading Role for The Blind Side in 2010 (the same year she became a mom and a single woman), rocked a fully-embroidered cap-sleeve gown by Elie Saab and Harry Winston jewels.
The Impossible's Naomi Watts, who lost the Best Actress in a Leading Role to Silver Linings Playbook's Jennifer Lawrence, looked fashion-forward wearing an Armani Prive gown, Neil Lane jewels and Jimmy Choo sandals. Other stars who wore embellished dresses included George Clooney's love Stacy Keibler (Naeem Khan), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Zuhair Murad) and Salma Hayek (Alexander McQueen).
Other attendees opted for bold hues at the star-studded event, like Reese Witherspoon (in a cobalt Louis Vuitton dress) and Jennifer Aniston (in a red Valentino gown).
Several other beauties stood out on the Oscars red carpet, including Charlize Theron (Dior Haute Couture), Jennifer Garner (Gucci) and Amanda Seyfried (Alexander McQueen).
