He's never been one to keep his opinions to himself, and Jim Carrey's latest crusade is all about reforming gun control laws.
And rather than simply making a speech or a PSA, the "Truman Show" actor teamed up with Funny or Die for a spirited song called "Cold Dead Hand" along with a masterful impersonation of Charlton Heston.
Explaining his motive for the Lonesome Earl ditty, Carrey noted, "I find the gun problem frustrating and 'Cold Dead Hand' is my fun little way of expressing that frustration."
However, he was a bit less diplomatic via a Twitter post- "'Cold Dead Hand' is abt u heartless motherf%ckers unwilling 2 bend 4 the safety of our kids. Sorry if you're offended by the word safety!"
