Saoirse Ronan Says Good Morning America

Stepping out for some media duties, Saoirse Ronan showed up at ABC Studios in New York City this morning (March 27).

The "Atonement" actress was in the house to promote her new movie "The Host," and it sounds like the project was quite the adventure, as she did all of her own stunts.

Saoirse shared, "Yeah, I mean that aren't that many stunts, but yeah I did the ones that you see in the film. I jumped off a balcony. And apparently I didn't realize, but the second AD brought me out when we were shooting the scene that day and she said, 'You know you can do it if you want to. There's going to be a harness. You're going to be completely safe but you don't have to, there's no pressure.'"

"And I said, 'No, I'll do it. I prefer to do my own stunts if I can.' And she said, 'Okay that's great, because we all have a bet [that you wouldn't do it].'" Apparently one of the crew members won $40!
