35 Of The Best EVER Coachella Looks From Kate Bosworth, Rihanna, Diane Kruger & More

We might still be shivering in our biker boots, but festival season is finally here as Coachella kicks off this weekend. This is the one where you'll spot Alexa on the DJ decks, Kate Bosworth perched above the crowds on on Michael Polish's shoulders and Diane Kruger by the pool. Yes that's right, Californian festivals have pool parties.

So what about the fashion? Coachella style is hipster-tastic, with ditsy florals, flowing maxis, tassled jackets and aviators. Think Woodstock meets Shoreditch. Like any festival, denim hotpants are part of the Coachella uniform. Last year Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was the dream Cali girl in floral embroidered Christopher Kane cut-offs, with Swarovski elements embroidery on them.

This look is top of our festival inspiration board, along with Kate Bosworth's white denim cut-offs, tan boots, American flag tee and aviators combo. Kate Bosworth IS Coachella as she tops the best dressed list each year. We loved her cowboy inspired look last year, as she wore an Isabel Marant floral print cowgirl shirt over a black denim tee and black cut-offs. We reckon she's digging out her Isabel Marant suede boots and denim daisy dukes as we type.

Coachella isn't quite like a British festival. Mr Henry Holland told us that Coachella 'is such a different thing to Glastonbury where it’s tents, mud and burger vans. At Coachella it’s vegan falafel stalls and perfectly manicured flower beds. At Glastonbury those flower beds would be like a public toilet in ten minutes.' So there's no fear of mud-splattered jeans for the celebs in the VIP parties, as this is the one festival where stars wear Dolce.

Yes, really, you can spot designer labels at this festival. Dree Hemingway wore a Dolce & Gabbana red hot chilli print midi and crop top to Mulberry's BBQ Pool party. Diane Kruger opted for a blue striped Stella McCartney dress with a palm tree motif to stroll around the festival with boyf Joshua Jackson, and she wore a colour block Lacoste dress to the Lacoste pool party. 

If you're going to Coachella, the Mulberry Pool Party is the one to crash. Inside there are even more of their it-bags on show than in an actual Mulbs store, as a Mulberry bag swinging from your shoulder is almost as essential as the invite. Kate Bosworth is a regular at this V V VIP event as last year she wore a Mulberry printed tee, black studded shorts and a 'Lily bag.' Emma Watson also wore a Lily shoulder bag to the party last year, with a Mulbs tiger-print playsuit.
