Following Sex and the City's six-year run on HBO, women around the globe can thank Sarah Jessica Parker's crush-worthy fashion icon Carrie Bradshaw for spicing up their style -- AnnaSophia Robb included. Portraying Bradshaw in her younger years on The CW's The Carrie Diaries, Soul Surfer's Robb admits that hanging around the wardrobe room on The CW's set has proven fruitful.
"I've started to care a little more about fashion," Robb, 19, tells Us Weekly after nabbing the show's lead role alongside Austin Butler, Ellen Wong and others. "I'm starting to wear a lot more tights now. Carrie wears a lot of tights . . and I'm starting to wear more patterns. Carrie doesn't really have a specific color -- it's more layering of different patterns and textures and eras together."
Admittedly considering herself more of a Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) than Carrie fashion-wise in real life, Robb says there are times she mirrors Carrie Bradshaw's signature style.

"It kinda depends on the day -- on how much energy I have to put into it," explains the actress, who deferred admission to Stanford to film the series in New York City. "On New Year's I wore a big poufy white skirt, which is very Carrie . . big crinoline," she recalls. "But most of the time I just like wearing stuff that's comfortable: boots and patterned jeans and big, comfy sweaters."
