Sticking close, the twosome tried to avoid the paparazzi as they made their way through the East Village on the chilly but sunny Big Apple day.
Soon, the English actress will be busy promoting her upcoming film, "The Great Gatsby," a romantic drama about a war veteran who is drawn to the past and lifestyle of a millionaire neighbor.
Spearheaded by Baz Luhrmann, the highly anticipated motion picture also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Isla Fisher.
"The Great Gatsby" arrives in theaters on Friday, May 10.
