Cassie Is The New Face Of Forever 21: The RnB Artist Stars In Summer 2013 Campaign: EXCLUSIVE

Forever 21 always bag the coolest campaign stars, as Charlotte Free, blogger Bip Ling and Sky Ferreira have all modelled for the high street brand. Now Grazia Daily can exclusively reveal that the face of their Spring 2013 Forever LA collection is model and RnB star Cassie and we've got the first shots from her shoot.

In the campaign P Diddy's music sensation wears vibrant colours and electric 90s-tastic prints, modelling crop tops, patterned body con, coloured knee highs and leopard print trews. The patterned Jazzy Jeff style shades Cassie wears in the campaign are going right to the top of our summer wishlist. They'd be perfect for Coachella, right?

The Forever LA collection has two parts, the West Side and the East Side. The East Side is inspired by 90s urban Los Angeles style with vintage and alternative style pieces - think Fresh Prince of Bel Air. While the West Side embodies the laidback vibe of LA with abstract prints, vibrant sneakers and crop tops. The campaign is shot in LA (obvs) and Cassie poses in front of a hipster bike in a massive pair of shades and a graffitied tree trunk, then hits the beach in loud geometric prints. Anyone else think it's très Rihanna?

Cassie is hardly a surprising choice as she has the eclectic urban LA style (plus a super edgy undercut) and is clearly a fan of the high street brand as she wore a Forever 21 bomber jacket for her music video Numb. She may have recorded with the likes of Akon and Lil Wayne, but also has had a successful modelling career. She is signed with One Management and has modeled for Calvin Klein One, Adidas, Delia's, ASOS Spring 2013 collection and had a commercial with Clean and Clear.  

High street giant Forever 21 has a habit of snagging must-have models for their campaigns, as just last month they revealed that doll-like grunge queen Sky Ferreira is the face of their 2013 Capsule Festival Collection. The kooky model Charlotte Free and her pink dip dye also starred in a campaign for the high street giant. So you're certainly in good company Cass.
