Though many have forgiven him - including Anna Wintour, Oscar de la Renta and even the Anti-Defamation League - it seems John Galliano is still paying the price for the anti-Semitic outburst that cost him his job at Dior.
The 52-year-old designer's latest obstacle though is rather surprising. He has allegedly been banned from dressing Israel's contestant for the Eurovision Song Contest, Moran Mazor.

Galliano had reportedly agreed to design an outfit for Mazor, who is known as an "ethnic version of Adele", after being approached by the singer's stylist. However, as soon as the Israel Broadcasting Authority, which airs the contest and sponsors Mazor, caught wind of the collaboration they put a halt to it, banning her from appearing in any Galliano-designed duds.
Justifying their decision in a memo obtained by Israel's Haaretz newspaper, and picked up and paraphrased by The Cut , Yoav Ginai of the IBA outlined "that at a time when racism and anti-Semitism are rampant throughout Europe, it's unacceptable to let Galliano clothe a Eurovision representative, even if he's apologized for his past actions."

If Galliano had been allowed to dress Mazor he would have joined Jean Paul Gaultier, who is set to dress one of the contest's hosts. It would also have been the first time any of designs (bar Kate Moss's wedding dress) had been seen since he was fired from his position at Dior.
