Gwyneth Paltrow just can't catch a break. After much mocking of her new cookbook containing $300-a-day recipes, 'starving' her kids of carbs, and being voted the world's most-hated celebrity (we could go on…), she's now under fire for a range of kids swimwear she's selling on her website goop.com .

The collaboration with designer Melissa Odabash has angered child abuse campaigners who believe a bikini marketed at four to eight-year-olds sexualises children.
The $45 limited edition two-piece is exclusive to Paltrow's website, and is described as the perfect way for kids to have their own version of their mum's bikini.
Claude Knight of Kidscape, a British foundation set up to prevent child abuse, told the Daily Mail , "We remain very opposed to the sexualisation of children and of childhood. The dangers have been discussed at length, so it is a great pity that such trends continue and that they carry celebrity endorsement."

Spokesman for the actress called the criticism "absurd", explaining that "two-piece bathing suits have been worn by young girls for decades."
