You've got to hand it to Kate Middleton. Just when we thought she'd gone into hibernation after a series of royal outings last month, the Duchess of Cambridge pops up in the very same dress she wore just weeks ago. Yes, the queen of recycle chic is going strong despite the baby bump.
Today's appearance is not of the official variety, however. Kate is in Ewelme, Oxfordshire to attend another friend's wedding with hubby Prince William. Unsurprisingly, the pair caused a right hoo-ha when they popped into a local pub for some pre-wedding lunch. See, they're JUST like us.
But forget the pub lunch, what's she wearing? Well, ever the appropriate wedding guest, Kate knows how not to upstage the bride. She rarely wears new dresses to her friends' weddings – as seen with the double-repeat outfit of her Jenny Packham dress and Katherine Hooker coat at Emily McCorquedale’s wedding – so it comes as no surprise to see her reworking an ensemble we've seen before.
You'll remember that this is the very same polka dot dress that the Duchess wore for the Inauguration of Warner Bros. Studios last month, which *was* available to buy on www.topshop.com for a purse-friendly £38.00 but quickly sold out, obvs.
From the blurry Twitter photos we've seen, it appears Kate has styled the frock in exactly the same way too, with that black Ralph Lauren jacket, a pair of no-fuss black heels and ladylike clutch. You've got to love that commitment. She has added an extra accessory in the form of a fascinator because, as we know, thou shalt never attend a wedding of another without thy head adorned with feathers.
