Laura Bailey's Little Black Book

Josh Wood Atelier, London W11
My beauty sanctuary. Everyone knows Josh and his team are the best in the business, but not everyone knows that Charlton, the chef, is cooking up a storm in the wings, or that you can visit their Bang Bar in Liberty for a £10 fringe trim. joshwoodcolour.com

Dock Kitchen, London W10
My favourite neighbourhood restaurant. There's an ever-changing and original menu, plus a terrace overlooking the canal on summer nights. dockkitchen.co.uk

Villa Tre Ville, Positano
Simply one of my favourite hotels in the world. It was once Zeffirelli's estate perched on the cliffs, and still feels more like a home than a hotel. villatreville.it

George's Surf School, Cornwall
An authority on all kinds of adventure, George Stoy taught my kids (and me) to surf in Polzeath. We stayed at the idyllic Treverra Farm Cottage, from where George now runs occasional summer surf retreats. georgessurfschool.com

Felt, London SW3
I'm asked almost every day where the five tiny diamond hoops in my ears are from and the answer is this tiny shoebox of a jewellery store, overflowing with vintage treasures and modern charm. felt-london.com

The Swan, Oxfordshire
I don't think I've ever left The Swan, a converted hotel in Tetsworth, now a sprawling rabbit-warren of antiques and treasures, empty-handed. Loot includes bookcases, piles of vintage linen and, more recently, a completely frivolous Victorian lace cape. theswan.co.uk

Le Jas des Roberts fleamarket, St Tropez
I did some serious detective work to find this Sunday market last summer, but it was worth it. I had to be dragged away, even in monsoon rain. jasdesroberts.com
