Khaki jackets have been bubbling under for a few seasons now but this summer they've replaced varsity jackets as the cover up for spring/summer '13. Quick off the mark was Kate Bosworth, who's been teaming her's with a flippy dress (see gallery above), the perfect combination for the festival season.
Whilst camo print versions are great for clashing with florals and spicing up plainer looks, it's Current/Elliot's oversized jacket that's been the biggest hit with our favourite A-listers so far... already spotted on Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts and Charlize Theron! Its double breasted silhouette, complete with belt detail makes it a cool take on the classic, and note the large front pockets- ideal for filling with your festival essentials this summer.
Meanwhile, Diane Kruger has snapped up the M15 Moto jacket by Rag & Bone, a more traditional shape, this khaki jacket is a slimmer fit, with zip fastening, making it the perfect off duty number in warmer weather.

And the best news is, their neutral hue means you can wear your khaki jacket with almost anything, as long as it's casual: think crisp white shirts, blue, black and grey jeans, printed trousers, pretty dresses... These babies are truly versatile indeed!
