Has Kris Jenner Been Inspiring the Kimye Wedding Wardrobes?

There’s no doubt that ‘momager’ Kris Kardashian is a matriarch par excellence, ruling the Kardashian family business and umpiring her daughter’s dramas with a pair of iron fists. However, while we've always know that Kris is a glamrous woman, we hadn’t noticed before how much her style has influenced her offspring’s wardrobes – something that was particularly evident at the recent Kimye nuptials where guests appeared to be raiding momma K’s closet.

First up we had Khole Kardashian wearing a Valentino dress pinched from Kris during the run up to the wedding in Paris. Kim Kardashian had previously instagrammed a shot of her mom wearing the embroidered mini at the Kardashian/Jenner family home in LA, but Kris obviously decided to be generous and lent the frock to Khloe for their bunch at the Valentino mansion last week.

At the wedding itself we also saw guests taking hints from Kris’ wardrobe with Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Tiegan working a the dress version of an Alexander McQueen jacket that Kris had sported during a dinner date in Paris. Both pieces feature heavy leaf and crystal embellishment at the shoulder and look remarkably similar.

Kris’s va va voom look always features structured tailoring, statement details and sex appeal – but there’s always a modesty to her ensembles. From her penchant for suiting to her interesting necklines, there’s a power women flavour with a fashionable twist. Little wonder then the younger members of the Kardashian friends and family clan have begun to take tips from the Kardashian Boss Lady. From mom-preneur to fashion icon... Is there anything Kris Jenner can't do?
