Danish-born, London-based designer Peter Jensen and illustrator Julie Verhoeven are coming out with a new clothing collection paying tribute to sassy pop star Diana Ross. Maison Martin Margiela has collaborated with Converse for a second time in an All Star makeover worth investing in. As you wear the trainers the soft white exterior will crack and reveal the true colour lurking underneath. Both brands are keeping their lips sealed as to what the mystery hue will be. Hockney's ode to spring

No corn dollies, no twee pottery - The New Craftsmen shop opens on North Row in London W1, on 5 June, showcasing work by Britain's most skilful makers of textiles, furniture, silverware, ceramics and glass.
