Cara And Jourdan Make Forbes' Highest-Paid Models List For The First Time Ever

Forbes has released its list of The World’s Highest-Paid Models of 2014 and while it comes as no surprise to see Gisele Bündchen topping the list for the eighth time running, we're delighted to see a swathe of Brit talent. Cara Delevingne has made the cut for the first time ever, landing at number 6, having taken home $3.5 million (that's £2.09million, people!) over the past year thanks to contracts with Mulberry, Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent beauty and DKNY. Meanwhile her BFF and fellow newcomer Jourdan Dunn just beat Cara after taking home a cool $4 million (£2.39million).

As for Kate Moss, she's certainly still got it. The superduper model earned $7 million, making her the highest-paid Brit model in the world and the only 40-something on the top earning list. In fact, last week news broke that Mossy is earning more money than ever - she's the face of David Yurman, St. Tropez and Kérastase, she's a Rimmel ambassador AND released her latest collaboration with Topshop earlier this year. As we report in this week's issue, maybe the millions are pouring in, not 'despite' her being 40, but because of it.

But it's Gisele who takes home the crowning glory. According to forbes.com, the Brazilian beauty racked up no less than $47 million (£28.1million) thanks to modeling contracts with H&M, Stuart Weitzman, Chanel and Carolina Herrera. Her business woman credentials were also racked up by the jelly sandals she designs for Brazilian shoemaker Grendene and her own line, Hope Lingerie. And let's not forget she's the face of Pantene hair products and Oral-B in Brazil. Doutzen Kroes and Adriana Lima scored a joint second place, both earning $8 million.
