Karl Lagerfeld poses with and photographs Conchita Wurst for the latest issue of CR Fashion Book
Karl Lagerfeld is like the godfather of pop culture: the inimitable designer’s seal of approval basically ordains whether someone or something can be deemed truly of-the-moment. Not to be outdone by the publication’s other (mini) beacon of our times – a debut from North West in Chanel – Conchita’s set waves, a well-honed smize and slim pins conjures up the role of a Hollywood vixen… one who gets photographed by polymath Karl, interviewed by androgynous model Casey Legler, and also cosies up to pregnant model Ashleigh Good.

The Austrian-born 25-year-old has been styled in Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci’s new season collection: concocting a mix of loose, masculine tailoring, lingeries and fur that wouldn’t have looked out of place in a Marlene Dietrich portrait.
