The Duchess of Cambridge has given Mulberry the thumbs up ahead of the brand's Spring Summer 2013 presentation tomorrow. Although Kate won't be sitting front row she's added the coveted Brit designer to the long list of catwalk names she's been seen wearing on her official tour of Asia, which include Prabal Gurung, Alexander McQueen and Erdem. The DoC has previously been spotted wearing Mulberry back in November last year when was snapped at Buckingham Palace wearing a £1400 silk ‘Cabbage’ green pleated dress.
Today she and Prince William touched down in Marau as part of today's busy schedule and Kate returned to a darker colour palette after embracing colour in a green print Jonathan Saunders frock, a batik orange and pink dress and a yellow Jaeger shirt dress over the last couple of days. As she exited the aeroplane she looked city chic in a full sleeveless dress in 'Nightshade Blue' Broderie Anglaise from Mulberry’s Spring Summer 2012 collection.
The frock has a cute collar and Kate wore it nipped in at the waist with a matching patent belt. Once again the DoC wore her reliable Stuart Weitzman wedges (pointed out to us by the lovely Helen from Kate’s Style List). While she may have avoided bright hues William certainly drew the eye in pink shirt. The royal couple were given gifts of traditional necklaces made of shell money, worth up to £150 each by locals who they met on their arrival. Stay tuned as we bring you more details.
