She's no stranger to massive career success, and Taylor Swift has outdone herself again with her new album Red.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, T-Swifty's new record sold 1.208 million copies in its first week of sales, 465,000 of which came through iTunes.
This new benchmark puts Taylor well ahead of her awesome-selling 2010 album Speak Now, which moved 1.047 million units in its first week.
Swift's Red is the best first week selling album since Eminem's 2002 release The Eminem Show which scored 1.322 million copies.
Taylor also has the 2nd biggest-selling week for any female artist, coming in behind Britney Spears' 1.319 million-selling Oops! I Did It Again from 2000.
