Since she started out in the film game, at the tender age of five, we've only ever known Dakota Fanning as an all American blonde and we've always loved her fresh but grungy blonde hair that she's angelically sported since her breakthrough performance in 'I am Sam'. So when on Monday night, she walked onto the red carpet for the Premiere of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 in LA, Dakota revealed a new hair hue....a rich, warm brunette.
Attending the CFDA Awards last night, we caught another glimpse of the style changing shade, which of course is a perfect match for Dakota. So what's reason behind this drastic hair colour change? We can only speculate but after years of being an innocent, natural blonde, could Dakota be looking to be taken more seriously? With her new brilliant brunette shade, Dakota has had to up her style stakes too. Opting for a bright lip on the Twilght red carpet and a chic up-do at the CFDA's. Whereas before her blonde locks needed no addition colour, it was quite unusal to see Dakota sporting a red lip or smokey eye, Dakota's first outings with her new brunette hair has lead to two new beauty styles too. Not only has it highlighted Dakota's pale and perfect skin, it's eccentuated her amazing facial features too- who knew a hiar colour could change someone's appearance so much!
