The star of the Twilight Saga never veers far from her signature side swept hair, winged eyes and slick of gloss. Because while her clothes do the talking, Kristen Stewart's hair and make-up hardly say a word.
Her "no-make-up make-up" starts with barely there base - it's translucent, glowing and hardly visible to the naked eye, which can only mean one thing, tinted moisturiser (head to Laura Mercier for some great versions) followed by concealer where you need, and only where you need it (under the eyes, the sides of the nose and on the chin). The real trick here is to spend time prepping your skin - an extra ten minutes massaging hydrating serums or even a mask into skin, which is where Clarins' line up of skin quenchers come in nicely, will honestly make all the difference to the quality of your skin.

The real trickery to Stewart's make up is the highlighting. Using a cream highlighter ( Benefits Moon Beam , £18.50, or Stila All Over Shimmer in Kitten Shimmer , £16, if you want a bit more warmth are bang on for this effect) concentrate on where the light hits your skin, and gently apply highlighter here; down the bridge of the nose, the tops of the cheekbones, just above the cupids bow and pressed into the inner corners of the eyes looks beautiful.

And to sculpt her already structured face, use a sweep of powder bronzen blush down the cheekbones, something like Nars Andy Warhol Highlighting Blush , £21, works well for that blusher bronzer hybrid effect.
Stewart always keeps the focus on her eyes - lining with sharp black liner ( Cliniques Quickliner for Eyes Intense pencils, £14, are great for that clean finish) and using a thicker line just above and below her lash line in a tone one shade down from black, try the Smashbox easy-to-use Waterproof Shadow Liner in Charcoal , £17. Then soften the finish with a warm flesh coloured shadow blended up to the brow; if you're new to shadows try Tom Ford's Eye Color Quads - in Golden Mink specficially for this look, £62 - yes they're expensive but worth it because they just blend so easily into skin and just don't crease. End on a slick of lengthening, non-clogging, mascara (try Lancôme L'Extreme , £21, which seems to add inches instantly).
Don't be fooled by her nude lip - it takes product to make them look that natural. Go for a high gloss, caramel shade (more sophisticated than pink) and reapply constantly, try Rimmel's Vinyl Gloss in Paparazzi, £4.99, www.boots.com .
Kristen's hair? It's all about the gentle side sweep with volume. The best way to make this work without effort is to simply blow dry your hair in the direction you want it to fall - this isn't about fixing your hair, it's about gently teasing it to the side. But use product to help it along, L'Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Constructor , £10.50 is your best friend here, and simply use fingers or a brush to train your tresses into your desired direction.
When it comes to texture, this is a straightening-free zone, you won't see a hair iron near Stewart's effortless locks; up or down or worn in her signature sideways sweep, there's texture, movement and wave. The best way to get the look? Work mousse into wet hair before drying with a diffuser - yes this styling tip may sound like an Eighties throwback, but the new generation of mousses add volume, wave and luxury shine and none of that age old dry brittle effect, which is why it's now a staple at all the backstage shows. Try Redken's Curvaceious Wave Ahead, £11.15.
